How to send a Security Culture survey

Security Culture Surveys help you understand how employees think about and handle cybersecurity in their daily work.

The survey provides insights into your organisation’s security awareness and helps identify areas where additional awareness efforts may be beneficial.

How to schedule a survey in the app
  1. Go to Security Culture → Survey Planner
  2. Click Schedule survey
  3. Choose:
    1. The target group you want to send to
    2. The send-out date and time
  4. Click Schedule survey to confirm

Once scheduled, employees will receive the survey by email on the selected date.

You can always edit an upcoming survey and adjust the target group or send date.

Tips for a successful survey

To achieve the best possible participation and results, we recommend:

  1. Sending surveys during working hours on weekdays
  2. Informing employees in advance about why the survey is being sent
  3. Explaining how their participation will help improve security awareness across the organization

What employees can expect

The survey typically takes only a few minutes to complete and includes 10 questions related to everyday cybersecurity behavior and values.

Survey responses are used to measure overall security culture trends across your organization and help identify areas for improvement.

You can preview the survey in Survey Planner in the app.

 

Auto-scheduling surveys

Auto-scheduling makes it easier to run regular Security Culture Surveys without manually planning each new survey.

When enabled, the next survey is automatically scheduled 6 months after the previous survey was sent. The new survey will use the same target group and survey template as the previous survey.

You can turn auto-scheduling on or off at any time in Survey Planner, and you can always edit upcoming surveys if needed.

 

Results and Insights

You can view results in the Analytics section.

Results are only shown once at least 5 employees from the selected target group have completed the survey. This helps ensure anonymity and prevents individual responses from being identifiable.
