What is the Security Culture Service?

We'll give you a short introduction to our service that measures and helps you improve your security culture over time.

What is the Security Culture service?

Security culture is how your employees think and act when it comes to IT security in everyday situations.

Our Security Culture survey gathers 100% anonymous feedback and data from your organization to give you insight into things like attitudes, behaviors, and your overall security maturity.

Employees can share their real thoughts and opinions about security in your organization in a safe environment, giving you more honest and actionable insights than traditional feedback channels.

It helps you see where you stand today (a baseline), then prioritize what needs improvement, and track progress over time so that security becomes more embedded in the organization.

With this service you can see an overall score as well as insights at the category level, which you can use to support management discussions and target specific focus areas.

How it works

The service is easy to get started with. Here's an overview of how it works.

  • We send your employees a quick, 10 question survey every six months

  • The responses are completely anonymous

  • You get an overall score and a breakdown based on specific drivers of culture

  • You can use the results to understand how current initiatives work in your organisation and where to focus your energy moving forward

Who can benefit from the Security Culture service?

Security Culture is useful for anyone who wants to understand and improve how security is practiced in day-to-day operations.

This means it’s a good fit for:

  • Leaders and managers who want a clear baseline of the “status quo” and to identify areas where improvements are needed.

  • Security and compliance teams that need data on attitudes, behavior, and overall security maturity to guide priorities.

  • HR and internal communications teams that want to support a stronger security culture and track progress over time.

It’s also useful when running other services (such as Awareness and Phishing Training), because you can tailor the training and focus areas based on real data from your own organization.

If you are seeing low engagement or performance with other security initiatives, a security culture survey can help you understand what could be driving this behavior. There are often underlying reasons why teams may not be prioritizing security, and the survey helps uncover these so you can address them more effectively.
