Checklist for Phishing Simulations

Our recommendations for what you should do before, during, and after every phishing campaign.

Click and data submission rates are important in measuring your phishing training progress. But to really understand how the simulations affect your organisation's phishing response, we recommend you look at the whole picture. There's another source of data, your employees' reactions, that can complete the picture.

But how do you measure employees' reactions?

We've made a checklist to help you remember what to look out for during your phishing campaigns. Use it as a guide and a way to record your observations.

Download the checklist here in Danish and English.

For example, how many people reported the email correctly? And how long did it take for your entire organisation to be alerted to the threat?

These are some things our checklist will help you track over time.

The checklist takes the guess-work out of running a phishing training program. Using it will help you run the training in a safe environment and improve your phishing resilience over time.

The checklist gives you:

  • A list of steps to take before each campaign
  • A list of what to observe during each campaign
  • Tips for sharing the results and following up after each campaign
  • Email templates to guide your communication about the training

You are welcome to use the checklist and bring it to your campaign evaluation meeting with your Customer Success Manager.
