Protecting passwords

One of the best favours you can do for your own IT security is to make all your passwords different.

But how do you remember all those passwords?

This course provides some tips on how to best approach this in your everyday work. We steer you away from problematic solutions like sticky notes on the screen or passwords.txt on the desktop and instead talk about the more secure ways to do it.

We recognise that realistically there is no one perfect solution and try to help you find a solution that works in your everyday life.

In this course, we'll talk about mnemonics, notebooks, storing in browser and password manager software, among other things.
